VS.net and Smart Device Application Development

I am trying to start writing programs for Pocket PCs as the main application is ready to be deployed and people now want it so they can take info away with them.

Now the annoying problem I am having is starting a Smart Device project in VS.net 2003 Pro.

I have the .net CF installed, the active sync 4.7.1 (or whatever the most recent is), i have eVC++ installed and EVERYTHING i have been told to install, installed.  I have unistalled VS.net and reinstalled it, and then followed the order of things to do from the MSDN website.  But still not joy what so ever!

HELP ME PLEASE BEFORE I LOOSE MY MIND (lol joke!)

Thanks in advance

And what is the problem exactly? Do you have a LAN adapter card on your PC?
When i start Visual Studio .net 2003 Professional and click new projects>vb there is no choice for development smart device applications, even after i have installed everything necessary.
Its not vs 2003 that am using! i have downloaded the wrong one (its legal from the ELMS website ;) but the ELMS website won't let me download 2003, only 2002 even though it offers the 2003 for download :(.

Sorry to bother anyone :)
what is elms?

When VS2002 was out, smart devices applications where not packaged into.
Will look into the vb express thing before i assign.  if it works out, i will give you a hug (and the points)

where do you get your wonderful knowledge?
Here and there!!!
need to go to those places
looking at the download its going to install beta version of the .net frame work! won't touch this at the mo due to current developments.  but thanks!
