Error 11 Error HELP!!!!

When I try to open a second window in Internet Explorer, the program just quits. Sometimes I get a message that says unexpectedly quit, type 11 error, restart the computer and try again.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Some more basic info would help. OS version, explorer version.

Found a solution:

In the Finder, Select the Internet Explorer icon and press
apple+i, this will show the information dialog for Internet
Explorer.

In the memory section - Set the preferred memory to
around 30000KB, this should be more than enough for IE
to run without the error 11.

Internet Explorer is outdated for OSX, isn't often updated, is buggy, leaks memory.
You can try to avoid it crashing by giving it tons of memory...

If you really need a light snappy browser, consider Apple's Safari.
If you need a good browser, consider Firefox 1.0. (www.mozilla.org)
Lot's of web-based apps do'nt work on 'Exploder', Firefox is the place to be now.

if you're getting type 11 errors and you can adjust memory allocation for applications then you're using a non-OS X version of IE.

If you really have MacOS X 10.3.x then your machine should have come with the latest IE (5.2.3) on it... go get it here:
