Program to model application.

I have downloading a c# application. I was wondering if there is an application that can build a design of the links of the application.
I don't really know how to express myself. I am missing the term. But there is an application that is for visual studio .net or is in visual studio .net
that can model an existing application.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you have Visio ent. Arch. then it can reverse engineer your code and create diagrams as well as from models can create classes and projects.

Check this article,

Also there are lot of resources on the net related with visio. In VS.NET 2005 they have the designer integrated with the it.

It depends what you actually want to do. If you want to desigh a software, go to new->software->uml model digram. That is the point to start. You can find materials to help you throgh in the web.

Ok I was just fooling around draging and dropping.

I got

Admin::MemberConfiguration
-----------------------------------
#btnSelectDomain: Button
#optAllowLogin: RadioButtonList
--------------------------------------
-Page _Load(
#OnInit
-InitializeComponent()
-SelectDomainClick(
+Reset_Click(

What is this box?

I don't know from where you got this. But it is like a class diagram for a web page. Normally in class diagrams, you get the name on top, then variables and in the bottom methods.

Hello

I would like to suggest you use other UML tools like EA or Together from borland, they have much better UML support and more

And the best UML program out there ;)

But if I understand, you want to get an exisiting application and view that in an UML diagram? Do you have downloaded a dll file or the class files?
