Registry Issues

Hi,

1- How to backup the resigstry.  Is it by Registry > Export?
2- How to restore the registry to replace the damaged current one? Is it by Registry > Import?

3- My computer is working fine,  I want to backup the registry sepcially before installing a new software.  If the software created problems with my computer I uninstall the program then backup the good registry which I backed up before installing the new program.

So,  how to backup and restore the registry,  and how to delete the current one before restoring the healthy one.

Thanks

sure... and just to make things a little bit more clear.... for backing up the Whole system registry we dont use Export and import features... you need to use Backup Utility to Backup the Whole System Registry.... its explained in detail in the above article here >> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/322755#2B :)
