Registry Issues

Hi,

1- How to backup the resigstry.  Is it by Registry > Export?
2- How to restore the registry to replace the damaged current one? Is it by Registry > Import?

3- My computer is working fine,  I want to backup the registry sepcially before installing a new software.  If the software created problems with my computer I uninstall the program then backup the good registry which I backed up before installing the new program.

So,  how to backup and restore the registry,  and how to delete the current one before restoring the healthy one.

Thanks
