Hi,

I have two "input boxes" on my stage... When I run the swf file using Flash Player I can type in text but when I open the swf file within a HTML file (in browser) it doesn't look like I can type anything... It is like I am locked out? Very strange indeed. Any ideas?

Thanks,

You have to set focus to the flash movie before:

<html>
      <head>
            <script language="JavaScript">
            <!--
            function fuoco(){
                  var IE = navigator.appName.indexOf("Microsoft") != -1;
                  var filmato = IE ? window.filmato : window.document.filmato;
                  filmato.focus();
            }
            //-->
            </script>
      </head>
      <body onLoad="fuoco()">
            <object
                  classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
                  codebase="[...]" width="400" height="300" ID="filmato">
                  <param name="movie" VALUE="movie.swf">
                  <param name="quality" VALUE="high" />
                  <param name="bgcolor" VALUE="#CCCCCC" />
                  <embed
                        src="movie.swf"
                        name="filmato"
                        swLiveConnect="true"
                        quality="high"
                        bgcolor="#CCCCCC"
                        width="400"
                        height="300"
                        type="application/x-shockwave-flash"
                        pluginspage="[...]">
                  </embed>
            </object>
      </body>
</html>
