I have a Registry .REG file that I would like to have a .BAT file execute.  How do I get a .REG file into the Windows Registry without using the Windows interface.  IOW, how do I execute a .REG file from a C:> prompt?

    Accepted Solution

    regedit.exe file.reg

    Assisted Solution

I would use the /s switch, that makes it not notify the user.  Better in a batch file.

    regedit.exe /s myfile.reg
