How can we convert a FrontPage Web that was uploaded with FP extensions back to a regular FTP folder

Ok heres the problem. One of our users uploaded a Frontpage Web using the FP extensions. However a regular user goes in and occasionally looks at the folder info through FTP. The FTP site is now completely inaccessible to protect the web, however we need the ability to FTP to the sight. Is there any safe way to convert the folder back to a regular FTP site folder.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can just ask the hosting company to remove the FP extensions.  But if you are using FP forms, or any FP components that might use FP extensions, thse will no longer be accessible.
