How to move ACT Database

How can one move an ACT Database from 1 server to another.

We currently have an ACT database on a Server and have 4 PC's pointed to the machine with the database on it.
We tried copying the database to another PC and pointed ACT (or thought we pointed) to the copied database. But it could not open the copied database.

Does ACT have to be installed on the server also? ( the PC with the database)

Is there anything special that needs to be set up for this to occur?

Thanks in advance…

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

which version of ACT do you have?

it looks like ACT 2005 premium for Workgroups requires a "Full" MS SQL 2000 Standard Edition Installation....

so if that the product i'd have though you could have
a Database server and an ACT "application" server
but I've never used the product...

I suggest you contact the ACT support desk and see what they have to say...
