Remove built in printer drivers in windows 2k pro

Is there an easy way to clear out the existing printer drivers available in windows 2000.  I do not mean the ones that are currently installed, but when you add a new printer and all the manufacturers are presented to choose from, that list.  I wish to cull out the ones that our users do not need.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

In

%SystemRoot%\inf

remove "ntprint.inf" and "ntprint.pnf" to a backup location. These files contain a list of all the printers that Windows natively supports.

There will be other manufactuer-specific and technology-specific INF files remaining that list some pther printers but this file is the *big* list.
