Block IM and Streaming media ports

I am configuring a firewall for the first time and I would like to block the following:

Yahoo Instant Messenger
Windows Messenger
AOL Instant Messenger
ICQ
Streaming audio
Streaming video

Can anyone tell me what ports I would have to turn off to successfully block these activities?  Is there a resource available that shows how to block all these services and more?

Thanks in advance!

What was missing from the first list can be found here - i.e. AOL and the streaming ports.

I think, the sense of a firewall is, to allow all wanted traffic, lesser to block single ports.

Means: Usually you close all ports an keep only these ports open, you definitely need. These are usually only a handfull.

Doing so, you have usually blocked out all these services above, trojaners and a lot of other malware.
