hkcmd.exe error message

I am getting the following error message everytime anyone logs onto this PC - "The procedure entry point IsDisplayDeviceActive could not be located in the dynamic link library hccutils.dll.". This is followed up with another error message - "hkcmd.exe - no entry point". I have taken over this company as a new client and history on this PC is sktchy at best. Any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi
I think Sheharyaarsaahil's right - you need to upgrade / re-install your graphics driver

Sheharyaarsaahil - I so wish you had a handle that was easier to spell!!! - I think next time I just may just resort to using "That guy that last posted" !

I am way to pedantic and geeky to use shortcuts - I either get your name right or I just say "that bloke with the difficult name" - lol it's a girl thing - bit like making sure pictures are hung dead straight on the wall if you know what I mean - but no you probably don't..... Never mind, that's a good thing!
