Text issues after installation

Hello,

I just installed photoshop cs on my laptop and when I try to type text with the text tool, it comes out so small I can't even read it! Even on the largest font size. What settings would I have to change to get the correct text size when I type or try to add text to an image?

Thanks,
Regards,

I'm sure this isn't it, but are you looking at the document at 100%?

Yeah, I sure am, first thing I look at too, I'm pretty experienced with photoshop cs, but I haven't ran into this problem before, nor know what would cause it. So I'm not sure how to adjust the settings to fix it. Any ideas?

Thanks,

I just ran through all the options, and I am not seeing anything yet that would affect the font size like that.  Any other "symptoms"?

Hey thanks for the reference! Turns out it does have to do with the resolution of the image, I had converted the image to a .jpg then changed the resolution from 2.5 p/inch to 72 p/inch and the font turned out fine. Thanks again!
