I want to do some screen recording [AVI movies] of what I am doing on a Solaris 9  box [either X86 or Sparc].

Can anyone point me to a suitable programme or 2?

Also, when I have captured those movies can I then transer and edit them on a Windows Box [XP]. Will they be in a suitable format [AVI, RM etc..]?
