Webcam system

We are exploring the possibilities of .net at the moment.

What we need is a webcam system, where, a performer client app is able to send jpg data to a .net
server app which can propogate the data onto clients that are using an internet explorer browser.

We were thinking on using java applets to view the client part of the internet explorer browser
but maybe it smarter or better to have something that .net can generate ?

So, basically its a system where a performer sends images to a viewer. In the future we also
need to let the viewer send webcam video back to the performer ( one client at a time ofcourse ).

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Setting the incentive a tad low, are we?

We don't need a full working solution, that's not what i was looking for. I was just checking if someone might already worked on something like this or knew someone who could tell if anything like this is possible with If it isnt i have to look for another programming language.
