Installing Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
I asked my IT Administrator to install Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services on one of our servers. The server is running Windows Server 2003. He said that when he attempted to do so, it asked if it should overwrite the existing SQL servers (which we do NOT want to do). He said that if he says no, then we have to figure out how to manually set up and register Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services. I don't really know much about this... I just know I want to create an Intranet that utiilizes some of the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services features.
Anyone know what I am talking about and have any ideas as to what I should tell him?
Thanks
