Exporting animated graphics to Dreamweaver or FrontPage 2000

Hello, right now I'm S.O.S. (Stuck On Stupid) trying to transfer these cool, animated rollover buttons to Dreamweaver but when I use either export method Dreamweaver is not recognizing the htm format.  Does it matter that I have different versions ( Fireworks MX 2004 and Dreamweaver MX )?

It should work in either version, but - you should not try to "open" the html. Instead, in DW, choose "Insert->Image Object->Fireworks HTML".

Also, yes, it is better to use the same versions for DW & FW, since in the MX they have even improved the integration between these two and you will not benefit these improvements. You can export and import, but you wont be able to have the integration as neat as between MX<->MX.

Hope that helps,

with a smile

Why not save your animated gif to your hard drive first, then copy that file to your images folder, and add it in dreamweaver like that?
