Unique exe file

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to include libraries as customcontrols.dll,thirdparty.dll in an unique exe file ?
(I think the .Net Framework do this, but I'm not sure because it uses System.Data.dll,System.Web.dll for example and the compilation result is an unique exe file without dll)

Thanks in advance for your answers.

The Framework doesn't do this; instead, the system dll files are delivered with the .net framework and are thus always available in the Global Assembly Cache. You can also spot the files under your c:\windows\microsoft.net directory.

However, Microsoft Research has published an unofficial tool, ILMerge, just for this purpose. See <http://research.microsoft.com/~mbarnett/ilmerge.aspx> for details.
