bypassing firewall windows sockets

hi could any one tell me a way or an idea to bypass a firewall  
i'm using windows sockets and c# i want my program to bypass the firewall

    Well, if you are looking to do something like map out machines behind the FW then there are some interesting ideas on that subject. I'm not sure if this type of question is allowed, depends what you're doing I guess. As a clue for now, think that the only way in (where you get a reply that you can do anything with) must be through open ports. Now, tracert on Linux is Opensource and uses UDP. This could be rewritten to take a parameter of ports (ranges or incremental hops etc) and even use another protocol. This would then just look for connections on ports for IP's you specify. Of course, if it needed to be a complete tracert that went from you across the net and then through the FW then you'd have leave the preFW hops as UDP standard and then switch at the appropriate time. Mmmm, that's quite a hint :-)

    There's a very good book called Building Open Source Security Tools (or something like that) that has something similar (from memory) in (in C on Linux I seem to remember) but the theory is the same.
