Toshiba Satellite S1800-354S modem problem
Hi,
I have recently upgraded the above mentioned laptop to Windows 2000, and have managed to update the graphics and network drivers. However, i can't find a suitable modem driver ANYWHERE. I have been to the toshiba site and a few other modem driver sites but none of them have a driver relating to this particular make and model of laptop. The control panel tells me there isn't a modem installed and i am unable to find the modem model anywhere within the laptop properties. So in summary, how do i find a valid modem driver for a Toshiba Satellite S1800-354S (PS183E) (Windows 2000)??????
Please help!

thanks, tried these drivers, but not helped unfortunately. They install as normal, but then no modem shows up in the modem settings in the control panel. Tried re-booting and re-installing, but still nothing....

Thanks Chris,
however, my solution turned out to be installing a new internal modem card, using the drivers from its installation disk etc, and it worked. But i am awarding you the points for your useful tips anyway.
Cheers,

It would have gone MUCH faster if you had said your machine was a UK model.
