Does IE recognize any other fonts than those listed under Tools->Internet Options->General->Fonts?

    IE will recognize any fonts installed on the local machine

    Of course, not everyone uses IE or has the same fonts installed on their computer.  You can find a list of fonts that are considered 'web safe' here:  You can also see what they look like.
