I'm generated the following error when I attempted to install Apache 2.0 for a Subversion installation.

Can anyone decipher this?

mkdir /usr/local/apache2
mkdir: /usr/local/apache2: Permission denied
mkdir /usr/local/apache2/include
mkdir: /usr/local/apache2: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [install] Error 1
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

You will need root [administrator] privileges to install software under /usr/local.
This is typically handled via the sudo command:
sudo make install
