Outlook Express -Norton Antispam error message

Client computer, XP Home w/ SP1, fully patched but NOT with SP2...

Norton Internet Security 2005...

Ran all virus scans, spybot, adaware etc...seems clean...

Outlook express is set up to switch identities between 2 users...

If user #1 leaves OE open and user #2 wants to use his identity...we start switching identities...

OE will close down and open up with the new user...then I get an error message...

"Norton AntiSpam has finished configuring Outlook Express.  Outlook Express will now be restarted"

OE will go thru this re-start sequence 2 times...then it will stabilize and user #2 can use OE...

Now if user #1 wants to use OE and #2 left it in his identity, OE will go thru the exact same re-starting sequence...

Client used to have Norton Internet Security 2004 and reports OE did NOT do this...but it seems to have started with NIS 2005...

I don't have a clue where to start...

Ideas anyone???

Have you already checked this

Error: "Norton AntiSpam has finished configuring Outlook Express. . ." when opening Outlook Express

Norton themselves say disabling NIS is the only solution as of now
