Do you mutliple identities in your outlook express ? If you are using only one , create a new one and see what happens in that .

Is your outlook express fully updated ?

When it quits out , does it give any error message. If there are no error messages, does it quit when you are running any other program. Temporarily turn off anti-virus and see if that would solve the issue.

Try to run outlook express in safe mode and see what happens.
