Can a ADSL modem used for dial-up? Because I am going to buy a USB modem for dial-up, if there is an ADSL usb modem which also can work for dial-up then I can save money by buying a modem which can be used for both connections.

    Accepted Solution

No, it is not possible for an ADSL modem to do 56k dialup.

You would need 2 in 1 type of device that has both modems in it; and to the best of my knowledge it does not exist.
