unable to uninstall exchange 2000

"The component "Microsoft Exchange Messaging and Collaboration Services" cannot be assinged the action "Remove" because:
One or more of the users currently use a mailbox store on this server.  These users must be moved to a mailbox store on a different server
or be mail disabled before uninstalling this server.

I only have 2 mailboxes on the 2000 Server and they are:
System Attendant
SystemMailbox

I have search the EE database and have see some similar problem but no of their solutions work  I have move all mailboxes to a 2003 Exchange server and need to uninstall 2000.  Don't want to manaully do this, any ideas?

Thanks

I've been burn by this one to many times... So I ask you to try this, Open ADUC and select view | choose columns... and added Exchange mailbox store to your columns in ADUC.  Then sort by this new column.  If you've been using Exchange System Manager to check if you have any mailbox, this will not report mailboxes that have not received any email.

If all else fails... do it manually...

The steps will vary if you have more than 1 exchange server in your organization.
