This is a really confounding error: I cant seem to get the page directive with enableSessionSTate on an aspx page to work. It keeps returning me the msg that
The 'enableStateSession' attribute is not supported by the 'page' directive.

Source Error:

Line 1:  <%@ Page enableStateSession="true" %>
Line 2:  <script language="VB" runat="server">

I have also set it up to be true in the web.cofig but to no avail. I needed that becuz I am doing something like the following in my code:

ANy clues to the error are appreciated.This is supposed to be so easy yet.......

    This directive syntax is case sensitive.

    Actually this still didnt work though case sensitivity may have been an issue.
