Cisco PIX monitoring

Can anyone recommend something to help me better monitor my PIX515? We are currently only using Syslog to capture Critical, Alerts and Emergencies but if I'd like something that would give me better and more useful information, such as how many times a particular IP tried to hack its way in etc etc.

Anyone recommend anything or offer tips on ways to better monitor my PIX unit?
