Hi to all computer guru

May I know whether it is possible to convert from a tiff(G4) format file to uncompress tiff. If the answer is YEs, may I know which software or shareware I need to get, in order to do that.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

I'm 99% sure that irfanview will be able to help you.  It is a small, fast, freeware image viewer that you can use to open the file, and then save it again to any format you like.

If your original has already been compressed, you will not be able to uncompress it to smooth it out....

Because this is graphics...I *have* to pitch the ONLY graphics editor I ever use...

It is open-source...and will do damn near everything PhotoShop will do...including solve your posted question.

If you have Photoshop open the file and Save As a different name in TIFF format. You will be prompted for the option- select No Compression.

I'm pretty sure all three answers are correct.  A split seems fair.
