field on subform have focus when main form loads

is there a way to make the field on a subform have the focus when the main form loads?

main form:   frmUpdate
subform:     frmEquipmentUpdate
field:           equipmentlocation

In OnLoad event (or OnActive event)

'first send the focus to SubFormControlName (may be same as frmEquipmentUpdate or maybe not check to make sure)

me!SubFormControlName.SetFocus    
me!SubFormControlName.Form!txtequipmentlocation.SetFocus
