Thanks, cool, but I've been poking around various forums and stuff and have concluded that no one has come up with a solution to mark just one point on an xy scatter chart.  I guess I'd just have to start a new series consisting of just the single point selected and plot that point?  What do you think?

I appreciate your answer, but unfortunately it didn't help.  If I can't find anything more, I'll still give you partial credit for trying to help me out.
