Network Inventory Database/Spreadsheet

Hello,

I manage several small networks and I would like compile all our inventory information in one spreadsheet or access database. I am looking to put in information such as system info, software, purchase dates and prices, software license keys, serial numbers, assigned to, notes on machine, monitors etc.

does anyone have a good template for this that they would be willing to share. I am not really looking to purchase an audit software program- mainly just a good system for manually tracking all this stuff in one place.

Thanks so much for your reply! Does this program just handle licneses or can it handled detailed information for a machine-

I am thinking of something where I can pull up a machine by name and have all the information pertaining it- including machine make model, type and serial number, hardware config, purchase price, user assigned to it, software installed on it along with licnese key used etc.

Would this program handle something like this?

No it willl not handle all that but does have some of the features you want. It would be a good template to write your own database as it is written in Access.
