Hi everybody,

I installed the following pkgs from sunfreeware in order to get MRTG working, on a SunFire V100 with iPlanet WebServer:

application SMCftype       freetype
application SMCgcc342      gcc
application SMCgd          gd
application SMCjpeg        jpeg
application SMClibpng      libpng
application SMCliconv      libiconv
application SMCmrtg        mrtg
application SMCxpm         xpm
application SMCzlib        zlib

but when I try to run:

/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg

I get:

/usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg: not found

But:

# ls -l /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg
-rwxr-xr-x   1 bin      bin        87496 Sep 26 05:06 /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg

# ls -l /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg
-rw-r--r--   1 mrtg     mrtg       65478 Sep 10 11:16 /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg

Can somebody help me?

Could you try

and
cat /home/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg

Do
head -1 /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg
and check if your "perl" is at the right path. If not, please modify to the right path of PERL.

So did you modify /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg
to
#! /usr/bin/perl -w
and try it again?
