Sonicwall pppoe VPN issue

I need to know how to setup a Sonicwall SOHO3 using pppoe. We've setup many SOHO3s without pppoe accounts with no issue with VPNs.  We are unable to get a VPN connection to work with SOHO3s using pppoe accounts.

The site we are currently trying to bring up has the following:

Westell dsl modem set to Bridge mode.
Sonicwall setup with NAT/PPOE Client - connection up and running.
Site has a static IP
Under the Network Tab/WAN settings:
We haved selected both Obtain an IP address and Use the fillwoing IP address. Both will connect, however the VPN
     fails  on both settings

We are using IKE

Also, we cannot ping the IP nor access the firewall via https remotely.

Users in network behind SOHO have access to the internet.

Obviously we have something set wrong.

Thanks in advance for your help

Do I get points for answering my own question?

You have to set VPN to Aggressive Mode when using NAT/PPPOE Client.

Because you have presented a solution to your own problem which may be helpful to future searches, this question is now PAQed and your points have been refunded.
