Can some one explain what DTSStepScriptResult_ExecuteTask does.

    when should one use the :

    DTSTaskExecResult_Success -- indicator if task succeeded (eg in an ActiveX Script whether the script succeeded or not).
    to get a clear understanding of multiple  workflows (use of DTSStepExecStat_completed etc) you can go to  which give some great examples and explanations of how to "play" with workflows in a DTS package
