All oracle softeare can be downloaded from otn.oracle.com

change softeare  to software (it's monday.......)

You won't find only the client to download.
Choose this link on otn.oracle.com:
Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise Edition for Sun SPARC Solaris (64-bit)

and install only the client (it's possible).

As peterside7 already stated:  The client is not a seperate download in 9i.  You need the whole shooting match and just installing the client is an option.

If you just need a client install, I suggest 10g.

Oracle is an object-relational database management system. It supports a large number of languages and application development frameworks. Its primary languages are SQL, PL/SQL and Java, but it also includes support for C and C++. Oracle also has its own enterprise modules and application server software.
