Alert with variable value in flash!
Hi..please excuse my ignorance because I have never done this before!! :) AllI want to do is to alert a value of some variable in flash! It seems pretty easy, but I can't do it! I have looked at some examples but I can't getthem to work!

import mx.controls.Alert;
Alert.show(pos_tableau, "pos_tableau value", Alert.OK, _level1);

P.S. don't get what the _level represents????

So is there any other way to do this?? All I want to do is find out what value is being passed in the code??? I don't care how I get it! Even a traditional javascript alert would work!

One question though... I tried both of these and when I test the movie or scene I still don't see anything??? Any ideas??
How are you testing these? Some details might give us a better idea.

I'm just using Test Movie. I do get one actionscript error but it doesn't give me any more than that??? The code runs though????

the fourth parameter of the Alert.show method is the timeline which the alert window will center in..
