Autocad - the printer name is invalid
Hi All
One of my clients has a networked A0 Plan Printer. Its a XES Synergix 8825.pc3 in the Plotter Configuration Box in AutoCad.
Underneath in the Plot Style Table Name it's got: SHARP-1.ctb (missing)
When he goes to print he gets the error: Printer name is invalid.
Under windows it says it's a Xerox Wide Format Print System 8825
It print's a test page in windows fine and also prints out of word.
In the window printer properties under Device Options it has:
Firmware Revision: LoadString Error = 1814 (0x716)
and the Advanced tab properties are all greyed out.
The network printer icon for it doesn't say ready. All the other network printers do.
I believe they have AutoCad 2002.
What should be my troubleshooting process? Unfortunately, I don't know a darned thing about AutoCad.
Much TIA all.

Don't get down off an elephant - get down off a goose. Found they were using some volo autocad viewer thing - found one that was working was using Xerox'es AccXES client tools from the website - works!
