how to use Crystal Report 9 in visual basic

Hi ,

I am a new user to Crystal report . I got crystal report 9 and i want to use it in Visual Basic 6 . I do not know how to use it .so are there any simple code that can help .
I want to print a database table with some records . there must be in table format . and i used ACCESS *.mdb file. I already know that i have to make a report file with the Crystal report desinger . But how to programatically include it in visual basic  .

Thanks ,  i will try it now .
but i got something strange .In my visual basic program , it is supposed to have a ocx file . but this file is not installed in in my pc althought i installed crystal report 9 . Is this file not important ?

I use Crystal Report Proffesional .
version  : 9.2.0.448

i will try the web site now , i hope it works without this crystl23.ocx .

i tried the first example (the simple one) , but when loading this program , visual basic message that file crview.dll is missing . I do not know why although the installion is ok with now problems .

You can but Crystal must be installed on the machne.  You cannot build the reports and the application on your machine and distribute them to other machines.

how to use it in visual basic although it does not include ocx file .

To build the application on one machine and run it on others will require upgrading to the Developer edition of Crystal.

Crystal has replaced the OCX with the RDC and an ActiveX control.
Here is a simple example
