Congratulations to our new Sage—Zorvek

At the last congrats ceremony, matthewspatrick predicted that Kevin would reach the 500K mark on December 4. Since it actually took sixteen more days that that, it's obvious that Kevin has been taking off time to do real work!

Even with the reduced workload, though, he is still number 16 on the entire EE site for the month of December. And that is a truly remarkable accomplishment for a moderately trafficked TA like Excel.

Woohoo Kevin!

Kevin,

I was only *half* joking when I predicted 12/4 as the date!

Your ability to maintain such a high level of both quantity and (far more important) quantity is simply amazing.
And your dry sense of humor is very much appreciated.  I have learned quite a bit from your posts.

Keep up the great work,

Patrick

Good work Kevin! It's been amazing to see you answer all those Q's in the speed and with the accuracy you have. No doubt that very soon you will be getting your Wizard cert, especially since I am hitting your Q's in cleanup now! :)

Congrats mate!

Geoff.
Lets skip the words like:
- what a speed he has
- doesn't he has a job
- can't he spare some time for us
- is his bike already sold
- and much more
since we are saying terms like this the last few months every month when Kevins reached another level. Perhaps we should be glad that he reaches the genius level very soon so we are not confronted anymore with these things, in Q's like this one, and how great he's doing and silently admitting he's the truely master of excel. But only see his points level is increasing since there is no level for him to reach left.

Great job Kevin!!!!
I'll hope you will stick around here for a long time.

Cheers!
Jeroen

Make that:

"Your ability to maintain such a high level of both quantity and (far more important) *quality* is simply amazing.
And your dry sense of humor is very much appreciated.  I have learned quite a bit from your posts."

:)

Regards,

Patrick
Kevin,

Wow, Sage, huh?  That's fantastic and it doesn't even seem like it took you that long!

Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Happy holidays to your family and your self also from this site of the world. Please tell me when you thought your daughter to do Excel how you did it. then i can use it on my son (4yrs) and daughter (2yrs) please keep in mind that there still young so they also have to understand your lessons. since if your putting your daughter into the battle I have to use my 2 kids otherwise it is a hard task to stick up with you and my kids won't sleep at all (which they don't do at this moment so this won't be a big issue)
Jeroen,

Will do! It's only fare. Actually, I'm having a hard time getting her excited about Excel. When it comes to children the key is generating a genuine excitment about the subject. My daughter is learning HTML because some online games like Neopets provided that avenue (adding your own custom HTML) for sharing information and creativity between buddies. Recently she asked me to register her own domain and my brother is hosting it. Until she finds a good reason to use Excel I'm afraid I can only dream.
