Event ID 10002 from DCOM - Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server.

We've just installed a new SBS2003 server Premium Edition and keep getting this error in the Event Log.

The full text is:

Access denied attempting to launch a DCOM Server. The server is:
{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
The user is ANONYMOUS LOGON/NT AUTHORITY, SID=S-1-5-7.

Any sugggestions? It doesn't seem to be causing any problems - in that everything seems to be working ok.

Many thanks

Is there any significance in the server number?

{00020906-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}
I'm not entirely sure.  But this number looks like the SID of the server itself.   To verify this, you could download a utility that will show you the SID of any machine.  You can download this utility and then run it.  If the output of PSGETSID matches the number, then you will know if this number is the machine SID:

PSGETSID:  http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/freeware/psgetsid.shtml
