asked on Making ADSL connection persistant + non IP traffic
Hi
How can I make my ADSL connection on SuSe9.2 persistent , ie/ auto redial when disconnect? I added "PERSIST='yes'" to the ifcfg-adsl0 config file, but it does not seem to be working
Also, I see alot of non-ip traffic on my connection, below is just a sample from iptraf.
│ Non-IP (0x8864) (0 bytes) from 0009b68a9da8 to 000fea52bbc3 on eth1
Is this normal? What causes it? I also have a
search premierme.com.tw
in my resolv.conf file each time I connect via ADSL, I didn't specify that domain as a search domain, is this "automatic" or cause for concern?
