Installing Windows 2000 Professional

I am currently running windows Xp and i have downloaded windows 2000 Multi package which contains Windows 2000 Pro, 2000 Server and many more. I cant install any of them because i get a warning sign telling me that the OS you are running is newer than this one, and i can only exit i cannot continue. It tels me that i can still install if i reboot my computer keeping my Cd in. But because it isnt on a CD i cant bot from it. I have made a new partition and saved all the setup fils for Windows 2000 on it. Is there a way i can boot from that particvular partition??

1. that partition need to have boot files. If that partition is d:, do "sys d:"
2. that partition need to be active. Use "fdisk" to make it active.
