What is the most versatile/powerful dating script on the market. In the way that you buy the base product and than hire a programer to customize it?

Sure, when you search Google a lot of programs are comming up and it's hard to judge what is the best value for the money and which dating script would be easiest to customize should you want to. I am not a programer so I need an advice.
I noticed how eg. in the forum script market, phbbb script has big following and a lot of customization options written by a third party programers.
That is why I am asking community here at EE to help me think criticaly before I buy something.

What do you mean by dating script?
Like a script for altering the date?
A script to find you a female?
Could anybody help with the coment on Dating/Personals application?
Thanks

I have never seen an off the shelf application you are looking for. I guess you have to hire a programmer not to 'customize', but to 'program' that type of application.
First of all it's in gibberish so I can't make out the exact functions.
Furthermore what do you want behind it. There should be a database, and some php/asp application running on top of it.
If you hire a professional programmer it'd cost you a pretty penny. I reckon you could try getting some intern to do it. Would save you money. But then again you'd have no support.
There is no way to really answer your question as it depends on to many factors. What you want out of it, what you are willing to spend, what programming language you'd want to use etc etc etc..
You could have a go at a real programmers office near you. Ask em to give you a price estimate.

Thank you kneH!
I was astonished with the number of users this script supports, around 90,000 and I know it is very fast and there are hundreds of concurent users at times.
Some other dating programs on the Internet seem to strugle with 10 times less users and can be slow.
I would go with PHP and MySql. That is what the above script is made of.
Could you please elaborate on that a bit more? What are you trying to accomplish?
