Dameware mini remote service will not start

I get this error when trying to connect to an XP box SP1
Dameware mini remote control service is not running would you like to start it
Then >Unable to start service “System error :2” system cannot find the specified file

Tried starting the service connected though MMC remotely same error .

You should open up port 6129.
On the puter as well as on the router.

Also make sure the port is not being used by something else.
Run fport and have a peak
