ok here is basically a freebie for you experts,  more of a question than a problem

have an exchange 2003 setup, just wondering besides small decreases in performance are there any other downsides performing a Reverse DNS lookup on incoming messages.

oh ok, but if you don't have that in order then you are having your mail rejected all over the place, correct?

Yes, within the past few months, just about any business that regularly uses email has discovered whether they have their DNS records setup correctly.  If they haven't fixed it, it's "not your problem" ;-)

Experts Exchange is like having an extremely knowledgeable team sitting and waiting for your call. Couldn't do my job half as well as I do without it!
