Word 2003 with Outlook 2002

If I'm using Outlook 2002, can I use Word 2003 as my email text editor?

Yes. why not! IN outlook, go to Tools->Options->Mail Format and check Use Word as my email editor.
No!  Sorry, but you must have Word 2003 to use it in Outlook 2003.
Sorry. read it backwards.
But I still believe that the versions must match.

Can't do that because "Use Word as my email editor" is greyed out.
When you go to Tools->Options->Mail Format, what is the mail format you have selected?
It doesn't seem to matter which mail format I select.  I still can't select Word as my email editor.  I'd like to choose "text"
Try repairing Outlook by going to Help->Detect and Repair. See if this helps!
The versions of Outlook and Word MUST match !!!
