I have an application running on a 2003 server using terminal services. The application uses printers by name. A terminal has a printer attached and this printer appears on the server with it's session name etc. The session name changes with each login and the program then can't access the printer. How can I force the server to connect this printer with the same name everytime?

How can I force the server to connect this printer with the same name everytime?

Terminal printer name includes session name

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server.
