hello, I have a 160 gb western digital partitioned into two 80 gigs.
I also have a 40 gig drive.
The 40 gig drive is the one with windows.  There were some problem with spyware, so I had to format the 40 gig.
Now, windows says "dynamic disk is unreadable," when I try to access the 160 gig.  There is a lot of info on the 160 gig, and i really need to get it back.
I would rather not get another 160 gig, just to back up the data.
The 160 gig was working fine before I formated the 40 gig.
I also installed service pack 2, hoping that it was simply a "support for disks >137 gb" problem
that didn't do anything
Is the mbr on the 160 gig possibly corupt?

please help, thanks guys
