try replacing ur preference file.
Go to My Documents\Dungeon Siege and rename it as Documents\Dungeon Siegeold
Start Dungeon Siege then exit..this creates a new folder under my documents
Copy ur saved games from Dungeon Siegeold to ur new Dungeon Siege folder.
