I have this piece of crap antivirus program that does no good but its all i have for now and its called eTrust InoculateIT and anyways it all the clients who are not administrators get this error everyday at the same time about "RPC access denied"  something like that anyways i know it gives a number. Anyways i am pretty sure its with the antivirus program and maybe something to do with when it is suppose to update all the clients maybe.. Not for sure though. I was just wondering if anybody knows are has run accross that error and how to fix it. I dont want to give everybody admins rights to fix it. Thanks

what makes you think InoculatIT is causing this error?
you asked this question on the windows server 2003 TA so i assume you have this set up on a windows 2003 server, but you mention clients also.
what OS are your clients?
do you have InoculateIT set up on the 2003 server as an antivirus server that pushes the updated signature files out to your clients or what is your setup exacly?

Etrust inoclateIT is what the older version was called (6.0 i think)
The newer version is called etrust EZantivirus.  What version number do you have exactly?  I dont think InoculatIT is even supported anymore by Computer Associates anymore.  InoculateIT also isn't supported on windows 2003.

I would check the event viewer on your clients and see if it reveals anything.

this link shows the system requirements for inoculatIT6.0 (the latest version)

windows 2003 is not supported

Opps sorry about that. It use to be on or old 2000 server and we just switched to a new server computer running 2003 server standard. We have clients running 98,2000, and XP. This error messeage use to come up when we were on the 2000 server and i thought it would go away after we did the switch but its still there. I have had the InoculateIT setup on the 2003 server for awhile now. It is the 6.0.96 version. I will check the event viewer on the clients and see if anything is on there. thanks

The actual error says:

 failed to set realtime settings

     Access is denied (5)
